Introduction:

National TB Control Program of Pakistan is a sector under Department of Health where variety vacancies are open for Pak students and citizens. Applications are welcomed from males, females and field workers who have passion for serving the health care system both at local and CAP level by contributing to the elimination response towards XDR-TB and MDR tuberculosis, achieving 5year common TNMSC goals and setting up a long-term national plan to control Tuberculosis (2022) till 2030.

The primary objectives of the National TB control Program are to eliminate TB from Pakistan and to promote healthy lifestyles.

The Punjab Healthcare Commission has registered 8,207 Vacancies for the post of Medical Officer at government hospitals throughout Punjab, in 2017 as compared to only 1,718 vacancies in 2004. The recent statistics also show that there is a six-fold increase in jobs provided by the health department with regard to public healthcare administration, public health engineering and public health education roles.
